The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail raised his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz for the issuance of the royal order appointing him as Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, after joining the ministries of “municipality and village” and “housing”. It is noteworthy that Al-Hogail took over the housing portfolio by a generous royal order in July 2015, then he was appointed as Minister-in-charge of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs “previously” on February 25 of last year 2020, and he also obtained the American Accounting Fellowship in New Mexico in 1999, and a master’s in management MBA business from the University of Illinois Urbana in 1998-1999, and the Executive Development Program (PED) from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) – Lausanne – Switzerland in 2007, and he also obtained a BA in Accounting from King Saud University. He holds practical experience coupled with distinguished accomplishments, starting with the investment and banking development departments of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency – previously – from 1990 to 1998, and he also worked in a number of private sector companies in the fields of real estate development, the banking and investment sector, insurance and aviation, and has memberships in the boards of directors for a number of Public joint-stock companies and closed joint stock companies, as well as in a number of non-profit organizations and bodies, in addition to membership in a number of investment funds and internal audit boards.
