Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Ajlan, the former head of the Qassim Courts, passed away. He spent more than 35 years in the Great Mosque of Mecca giving lessons, and he will be prayed today in the Grand Mosque after Friday prayers.
The following are the most important milestones in his life, most of which he devoted to either receiving knowledge or giving lessons:
He received his education in the schools in his hometown of Uyun al-Jawa, and in 1368 AH he joined the Al-Faisaliah School in Buraidah in the Qassim region and graduated from it in 1371 AH, and in 1374 AH he joined the Buraidah Scientific Institute, and in 1379 AH he joined the College of Sharia at the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, In 1386 AH, he joined the Higher Judicial Institute when it first opened.

In 1372 AH, upon his graduation from Al-Faisaliah School, he was appointed as a teacher at Tharmada Elementary School, which Prince Saud bin Abdul Aziz, the Crown Prince ordered to open before his studies at the Scientific Institute in Buraidah.
In 1381 AH, he was chosen as a teacher at the Madinah Scientific Institute two years before his graduation from the College of Sharia in Riyadh, and in the meantime he was assigned to teach at the Prophet’s Mosque, may God honor him..
In 1386 AH, he was assigned to teach at the College of Sharia in Riyadh, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh.
In 1387 AH, he was appointed as an inspector in scientific institutes and participated in the practical education test for final-year students at the College of Sharia.
In the year 1389 AH, he was commissioned by His Eminence, Chief Justice, Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, may God have mercy on him, to open the first Saudi court in the Trucial Emirates (the United Arab Emirates) in the Emirate of Fujairah.
In 1393 AH, he was commissioned by the order of His Majesty King Faisal, may God have mercy on him, to open the Ajman Court and appoint him as a judge in it until 1405 AH. The Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him, appointing him head of the courts of the Qassim region, and he continued there until the year 1420 AH, when he requested a referral to early retirement to continue teaching at the Grand Mosque, so this was done for him and he is still studying at the Grand Mosque.
Then he taught at Umm Al-Qura University, College of Sharia, Judicial Department.
Then he taught in the higher department at Dar al-Hadith Charity in Makkah and is still doing that.
During his studies at the college, he was appointed as a teacher in the Royal Guard in 1380 AH in Riyadh.
In 1386 AH, he was assigned to teach at the Institute of Social Work in Riyadh.
And he participates in scientific seminars and lectures in mosques, radio and clubs in his workplace in Makkah, Jeddah, Riyadh, Qassim and the United Arab Emirates.
