Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the Instagram platform is developing a wide range of features to help influencers generate more revenue from content.
He indicated that this includes a marketplace that will help match brands with influencers who provide content that is relevant to the audiences they aspire to reach.
In turn, the president of the Instagram platform, Adam Mosseri, said during a live broadcast with Zuckerberg that the goal of this market is for Instagram to play a greater role in helping brands discover emerging creators and content makers that are compatible with their business and vice versa.
Zuckerberg announced, according to the “Arab Technology News Portal,” creators stores that allow creators to sell products to Instagram users directly. Last year, the company introduced Facebook and Instagram stores that allow direct sales to users, and allows some major influencers to create stores in their Instagram accounts.
Zuckerberg revealed an affiliate marketplace that allows creative content creators to get discounts from sales of the products they recommend for their content.
