أطلقت الصين اليوم السبت صاروخاً حاملاً طراز لونج مارش – 2 دي، وعلى متنه مجموعة من الأقمار الاصطناعية للاستشعار عن بعد. وباعتبارها الدفعة الرابعة من عائلة الأقمار الاصطناعية المعروفة بـ ياوقان35-، تم إطلاق الأقمار الاصطناعية في الساعة 37:1 صباحاً (بتوقيت بكين) من مركز شيتشانج لإطلاق الأقمار الصناعية بمقاطعة سيتشوان، جنوب غربي الصين، حيث دخلت إلى المدار المخطط لها، بحسب وكالة أنباء الصين الجديدة (شينخوا). وستستخدم الأقمار الاصطناعية بشكل رئيسي لإجراء تجارب علمية، وعمليات مسح للموارد البرية، وتقدير لحجم المنتجات الزراعية والوقايةمن الكوارث والتخفيف من حدتها . وتعتبر هذه المهمة رقم 433 لسلسلة الصواريخ الحاملة من طراز لونج مارش كانت الصين قد أطلقت في العاشر من الشهر الجاري 16 قمرا إصطناعيا إلى الفضاء من مركز تاييوان لإطلاق الأقمار الإصطناعية في مقاطعة شانشي شمالي الصين.
