His Excellency the President of Al-Baha University, Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Hussein, affirmed that the university is keen to develop student activities in line with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, in addition to the National Transformation Program, by involving the people of the country in planning, implementation and development. The accreditation of student clubs was one of those Developmental steps aimed at refining students’ talents and directing them properly, and working on developing scientific, social, cultural, cognitive and creative skills.
This came during His Excellency’s sponsorship of a ceremony honoring student clubs that received the shields of excellence today at the university’s headquarters. For his part, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abdul Khaleq bin Hajjad Al-Ghamdi, indicated that since the clubs were launched a year ago, they have been racing against time in establishing various and purposeful activities and activities according to careful planning and implementation of students at the university, indicating that the Deanship has undertaken a large part of the services that concern students In the university environment, and it seeks to achieve everything that would advance the university and serve its students in particular.
After that, the audience watched a documentary film that tells the story of the student clubs, in addition to the achievements made during the academic year 1441 AH, and His Excellency honored the student clubs that obtained the shields of excellence and a number of entities participating in the success of their programs in general.
