Qassim University obtained the renewal of the unconditional full institutional accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Authority for the period from 2020 to 2027 as the third Saudi university to achieve this achievement.
The Vice-Rector for Planning, Development and Quality, Dr. Khaled Bani Al-Harbi, explained that the university has met all the criteria and requirements necessary to obtain the renewal of academic accreditation, which are: Preparing the educational institution for accurate and comprehensive self-evaluation study reports for all aspects of scientific, administrative and service activities to determine its quality levels, based on the accreditation standards prepared By the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, and to be subject to an external evaluation by an independent evaluation team, to verify the validity of the results of the self-evaluation study, and to judge the levels of quality of performance in accordance with the standards of the Commission, and before starting the accreditation process, it must prove that the main elements in the quality assurance standards are met And academic accreditation, and the legal justifications for practicing its work.
Al-Harbi stressed that this achievement reflects the University’s improvement in its academic operations in accordance with the best practices of comprehensive quality and institutional quality to distinguish its institutional performance and place it on the ranks of accredited and prestigious universities that take quality as a way to raise their academic standing and reputation, and will also be reflected in the programmatic quality in which the university has achieved many achievements As it is the second Saudi university in the number of accredited programs, which enhances its local and global position and raises its academic efficiency.
