The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque carried out the work of cleaning the roof of the Holy Kaaba, through a specialized technical team, which are periodic work carried out by the Presidency according to a schedule.
The Deputy President for Technical and Service Affairs, Mr. Muhammad bin Musleh Al-Jabri, explained that the Agency for Technical and Service Affairs of the General Presidency, his representative in the Department of Cleaning and Carpet of the Grand Mosque, cleaned the surface of the Holy Kaaba.
Al-Jabri said: The cleaning mechanism takes place through several stages, the first of which is sweeping the surface of the Holy Kaaba, removing dust and bird droppings, then wiping the entire surface and the holder of the cladding, the wall wall, and the door to the surface of the Kaaba from the outside, with wet towels, then all are sprayed with water and wiped again and then the drying process .
Al-Jabri added that this was accomplished within a period of time not exceeding (40) minutes, through a national technical team specialized in the latest devices and modern mechanisms provided by the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs, in order to maintain the quality and safety of marble, remove dirt plankton, and preserve the cleanliness and luster The Holy Kaaba in particular, and the Grand Mosque in general.
Al-Jabri concluded his statement that these services and efforts come in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Prof. Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, calling on God – glorified and exalted – to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the trustworthy Crown Prince, the best reward for their efforts and permanent support for the Two Holy Mosques The two sheriffs.
